In a large saute pan, heat olive oil over medium-low heat until warm.
Add tomatoes. Stir and cook for several minutes until tomatoes soften.
Add garlic, white wine, and 1 teaspoon salt. Stir for an additional minute.
Add basil and stir until it just begins to wilt and release flavor. Taste and season with additional salt, if desired.
Combine with your favorite pasta and serve.
Notes
Recommended to serve with 12 oz of cooked pasta. For best results, cook pasta in a separate pan to al dente, and then add to sauce to finish cooking. Optional serving ideas -- top with additional evoo, parmesan cheese, and/or red pepper flakes.
